Carol White: Chair, Community Education

Carol was born, raised and educated in San Diego. She moved to Lompoc in 2002 when her husband Linual accepted the position of Fire Chief for the City of Lompoc.

In Lompoc, she has been involved in the Lompoc Valley Children Auxiliary, raising money for disadvantaged children. She is a member of P.E.O., which supports the advancement of young women through higher education.

An advocate for local libraries, she is a founding member of the Turducken Dinner Group. In 2004 she volunteered with American Red Cross as a greeter for the hospital and as a result of her service, she was recognized as Volunteer of the Year. In 2008, Carol was selected by the Lompoc Valley Chamber of Commerce as its Women of the Year.

She also volunteers her time at the Lompoc YMCA and since 2015 has served on its Community Advisory Board.

Carol has five children and nine grandchildren.
