We all use our eyes every minute of our lives. Yet, we rarely pay attention to our vision until a problem arises. This lecture focuses on the changes that occur to our eyes as we age. and what steps we can take to prevent blindness.

Come meet LVMC’s newest staff member – a 5-foot-tall computerized mobile robot. LVMC is now designated as an “Acute stroke Ready Hospital.” In collaboration with Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, LVMC now provides patients with 24/7 access to neurological consults, via the use of a telemedicine robot.

Come learn about symptoms of Stroke and hear from Dr. Thomas J. Clark, Regional Stroke Director of the Stroke and Neurovascular Center of Central California and Yvette Cope, LVMC Assistant Nurse Executive and telemedicine project coordinator.
