Details:

What do you know about dementia and Alzheimer's disease?  Is there a difference?  Is there anything we can do about it?
Come to learn the basics of the disease and about the latest in research in dementia and Alzheimer's.

Jordana Lawrence, Program & Education Manager & Research Champion - Ventura County

Prior to joining the Chapter as a program and education specialist for Ventura County, Jordana Lawrence was a volunteer support group facilitator for the Association for almost eight years. She comes from a business and teaching background. She has taught preschool through high school in Ojai and in Santa Barbara. Jordana came to know about Alzheimer's disease because of her mom, who passed away in 2008, and it made her want to help others to not have to go through the journey of dementia alone. Jordana is an advocate of the arts, having directed plays for several years.
